A House of Suds was conceived after Jim & Laurie Borek took a trip to Florida in 2008. They were introduced to a small store that carried a variety of soaps and fragrances. After buying many of their products, they were pleased to discover how incredible they were. They noticed great improvements in their skin and fell in love with the unique fragrances. They decided immediately to open a store of their own. They were put in contact with a Greek sponge merchant who makes goat milk and olive oil soaps. After hard work and dedication, A House of Suds is now partnering with the merchant to bring these products to New England. Laurie is now making her own soaps and filling special orders.

They are selling products that they are proud of and stand by 100%. Their soaps are all natural, non-animal tested, and gluten free. The olive oil soap, unlike commercial soaps which are detergent based and leave your skin dry and itchy, leaves behind a thin layer of olive oil. This helps hold moisture, while allowing your skin to breathe. These olive oil soaps are 100% natural and made with 100% pure olive oil.

Their goat’s milk soap is creamier and has a richness unlike most bath and body soaps. It can be used by people with sensitivities to other types of milk. Adding milk to the soap lowers its ph which helps to maintain the natural ph mantel of your skin. It is also a natural source of alpha-hydroxy acids that, recent studies indicate, rejuvenate your skin making you look and feel smoother and younger.
